wordpress RSSReader Plugin with OpenLaszlo
As you can see on the left i have an RSS-Feed Reader on my Wordpress Blog-Page ( http://www.wagner-sebastian.com/wordpress/ above the Pages in the sidebar). Its like my RSS-Feed-Reader for Websides. I made a Wordpress-Plugin to enable others easily to integrate other RSS-Feeds on their Blog:

You’ll find a quick overview about the Installation their.
The RSS-Feed-Reader is configured by an PHP-file, you can configure number of items/number of feeds/feed urls/refresh time/rotation time et cetera.

I love the plugin, but how do you call it? I don’t know what to put in my sidebar…

if you have followed the instructions it should be up in your starting page @ wordpress like in this blog her. Right above the Categories on the right.

ahh but i’ve seen that on your blog there is no “Categories” or “Pages” … if you change in the file “$WORD_PRESS_HOME/wp_content/plugins/rssreader/rssreader.php” in the last line “wp_list_pages” to “wp_meta” then the RSSREADER will be right above your “Meta-Section”

Actually, I am trying to use it on an intranet blog at my company, and I was hoping to put the call for it into a phpexec widget… Is this possible?

to include the (Laszlo)swf via phpexec? I don’t know … thats not necessary you just have to include it anywhere you can also hardlink it or via JavaScript include it… You just have to be carefull to place the file via ftp and the other php-files with the same “folder-/file-structure” …
thats all.

What I want to do on my blog, is every few hours take the oldest post and move it to the
front of the queue, all automatically. Anyone know if there is a plugin that can do this or
a simple way to set up another plugin to do this (use my own feed perhaps)?
Thanks.
